STUDENT COUNCIL

The P.C.H.S. Student Council is intended to provide an avenue of communication between the student body and the administration to provide desired activities and services that are not provided by the administration.  The members attend weekly meetings and take active roles within two or more committees. For the second consecutive year, the Student Council is advised by Mr. Woody, who continues to have big ideas to better the Student Government Program.

This year's student council has high expections for the 07-08 school year, and we are doing our best to plan activities and get everyone's participation in them. Check the Clash of The Classes Bulletin Board outside of the Cafeteria to see which grade is in the lead towards the end-of-semester prize.

**Person of the Year: For this school year, the student council has voted on a role model to emulate for responsibility and leadership, and have chosen John F. Kennedy. Throughout the  year, we will have assemblies to inform the students about John F. Kennedy and what he did to be deserving of the title of role model here at PCHS.  There are also several posters and random facts hanging up in the halls of PCHS. Take time to stop and read them, because you  never know when you might be quizzed.

**Complaint-Free World Bracelets: The purple Complaint Free World Bracelts are becoming more and more popular in the halls of PCHS. The student council is selling them for $1 each in Mr. Woody's classroom. (All proceeds will be sent back to the church that sent them to us for FREE)
Rules: 1. Wear the bracelet on either wrist.
               2. When you catch yourself complaining, gossiping, or criticizing, switch the bracelet to the                         other wrist. This will make you conscious of how much you complain, gossip, and criticize.
               3. Feel free to point out someone else's griping, but be prepared to move your bracelet as                         well.
              4. Stick with the program, and encourage others to join in.

Clash of the Classes Update

Currently, Seniors are in the lead by far, but there are opportunities to catch up.
Fridays are School Spirit Days, meaning you are allowed to wear a tshirt as long as it is PCHS               apparel. Most Fridays Clash points are taken, and this is by far the easiest way to catch up and           wear a t-shirt at the same time! Also, attending Clash of the Classes games are a efficient way           as  well.
