Though dark, forboding clouds lingered on the horizon, Homecoming went off without any weather hazards, except for the expected high winds. All the balloon bouquets, which had originally been delivered to the wrong school, blew around the football field outside of their intended positions, but that was our only casualty of the afternoon.![]()
Crown bearers were Matthew Santer and Allison Christman, seen here escorted by cheerleading captain Sarah Quimby. Last year's king and queen, Josh Tennant and Maria Schilling, returned from college to be a part of this year's ceremony.![]()

A good time was had by all, as the Crusaders rolled to a 40-6 victory over South Gallia.

Afterward, it was on to the dance, where the sophomore class had painstakingly decorated the cafeteria for our Night on Broadway.
