Mrs. Wildt and Mr.
Woody created this course to serve as an introduction to the techniques
of successful creative writers. The course is
divided into parts, with the student accumulating points throughout
which will comprise the final grade. Not all parts are weighted
equally, but each is valuable in promoting the final product.
Students will create a notebook, into which all work will be
placed. As students complete their assignments, they will submit
the notebook for grading. It would be best to print out the pages
of this website, and use them for "dividers" to help identify the work
being done. (This will also help the teachers determine the
number of points to assign.) Begin with Part I of this page,
and proceed in order to the end, at which time your points will be
totalled and your grade calculated. There are 1000 possible
points, so you may easily follow your progress by comparing your points
to the scale in the Toolbox of your other notebook for Mr. Woody's
classes. Click each of the links below to visit the pages that
explain your assignments.
